Hot Brasilian eatery Favela Chic is a funky destination for small group bookings and parties in Shoreditch

 

For group bookings with a difference head to the excellent Brasilian restaurant Favela Chic in London’s trendy East End. Based in the fashionable Shoreditch area, Favela Chic is the London branch of this hip Brasilian eatery with its older sibling based in Paris. The funky décor takes inspiration from the Brasilian favelas and features groove boards, net curtains and lots of wallpaper and timber to create a unique design. Group dinners, cocktail parties, birthday meals and small business events are often held at Favela Chic where the main dining room holds up to 80 people and the terrace a further 30. The private room known as The Chapel caters for 20-25 guests and is available for small sized parties and events. Head Chef Vagner Matos has created a superbly authentic menu of Brasilian delights including Moqueca (tropical fish with rice and bananas) and the amazing Feijoada (black bean stew with pork ribs, smoked bacon, slat beef and smoked sausage).
